I’m the same about taking any medication in case it makes me feel dizzy or light headed, which would then lead to massive anxiety. I am excited at my first bottle of CBD oil arriving in the post but I know I will put off taking it until I feel brave enough. I have been advised to just have one drop at a time and not the 15 that I see others take per dose. I would also like to take it daily as I do my vitamin B tablets. Thoughts anyone please?

Research conducted by Schier et al. (2012) aimed to review the literature of cannabidiol (CBD) as an anxiolytic due to the fact that it is non-psychotomimetic.  Researchers gathered scientific publications from English, Portuguese, and Spanish databases.  All compiled articles analyzed the anxiolytic effects of cannabidiol from both human and animal model studies.
This meant that overall, throughout the entire span of the night, I had ingested 2 doses of 2 BioCBD+ capsules for a cumulative dose of 40 mg (equivalent to 400 mg CBD).  After my second set of capsules, I ended up going over to a friend’s house and an unexpected party was going on (which made me nervous – I don’t like big parties).  I felt somewhat nervous because I didn’t know anyone and they wanted to drink (I didn’t want to) and thought about simply just leaving the party and going home.

We suggest those suffering from anxiety start with 5-10mg per day of CBD. If relief is not felt at this dosage, we suggest increasing by 5-10mg until the desired effects are achieved. My mom is late stage dementia. We have tried coconut oil/black pepper/curcumin combo for years. Gives only tine bit of help, and is not something that reverses dementia. Maybe in someone who can score better than a 14 on the mme it could be of help. But cannabinoid is a different story. Cannabinoids produce better results in less time. Can't say yet that they will reverse anything though.

Cannabidiol (300 mg), 99.9% purity without THC (kindly supplied by STI-Pharm, Brentwood, United Kingdom) was dissolved in corn oil (Zuardi et al., 1993, 2017; Crippa et al., 2004). Is it possible that some types or “strains” of hemp extracts used for CBD tinctures/capsules could actually increase a persons anxiety and insomnia? I’m a chiropractor and I personally use and sell CBD products in my office. I sell a few different brands. I have had several patients complain about a new higher dosage (50mg per serving) brand saying it actually increased their anxiety, increased their heart rate and prevented them from sleeping well. I have a few other patients that say that this same brand has been very useful in pain relief. Does this have more to do with the terpene profile that the amount of CBD?
I have extremely high Blood Pressure – generally 150/80, but spikes to 200/100 if I do intense thinking on any matter.. I am told that I have a lot of inner stress, but it does not generally appear in my disposition or attitude. I “think” intensively about many subjects on a regular basis. It could be anything from sports, to foods, politics, someone’s behavior, or just about anything that arises. Living in CO and being surrounded by CBD discussions, I finally decided to look up and see what CBD might do. Given this thread of info and responses, I’m going to start experimenting with with CBD. Process 1) consists of dissolving the oil in a nonpolar solvent such as petroleum ether, repeatedly washing (saponifying) with a base such as sodium carbonate solution until the yellow residue disappears from the watery phase, decanting, and washing with water to remove the base and the saponified components (and evaporating the solvents). This process reduces the oil yield, but the resulting oil is less acidic, easier digestible and much more potent (almost pure THC). Process 2) consists of dissolving the oil in a suitable solvent such as absolute ethanol containing 0.05% hydrochloric acid, and boiling the mixture for 2 hours.[19]
Cannabis oils and CBD oils are not the same thing. So what is CBD oil? Cannabidiol (CBD) oil has a high concentration of cannabidiol, while cannabis oil contains both CBD and THC. CBD oil is created by extracting CBD from either the cannabis or hemp plant and then diluting it with a carrier oil like coconut or hemp seed oil. CBD does not produce a euphoric “high” or psychoactive effect because it doesn’t affect the same receptors as THC.

A wealth of marketing material, blogs and anecdotes claim that cannabis oils can cure whatever ails you, even cancer.
