Anxiety subtypes: While the literature confers therapeutic efficacy of CBD for anxiety disorders, it doesn’t mention whether CBD may be more effective for certain subtypes of anxiety compared to others. [80] reported that repeated CBD doses over 21 days, that is chronic as opposed to acute treatment, facilitated conditioned freezing. In this study, CBD was administered prior to conditioning rather than prior to re-exposure as in acute studies, thus further directly comparable studies are required.
